Solution: Precision Analytics Group used Alteryx to rate the 2,295 Las Vegas Census Tracts for the densest Hispanic populations and the highest incomes. We created color-coded maps showing the best areas for new stores.
The Alteryx data then was fed into Tableau, for interactive investigation. A mouse-over pops up detailed data on the populations and incomes of each Tract (see image a).
Benefit: This spatial analysis will enable the client to view which neighborhoods have the desired income levels to target a potential new store. This can be used with other data factors to make a comprehensive decision on where a new store can be constructed.
